Jarius Wynn a “devastating loss” for Bills after ACL injury

The Bills defensive line lost one of its key veteran reserves in the preseason opener.

Defensive end Jarius Wynn suffered an injury to his ACL after playing 20 snaps in Friday night’s game. The team hasn’t ruled him out for the season, but it certainly sounds like coach Rex Ryan expects things to play out that way.

“Obviously that’s a devastating loss to us and to him,” Ryan said, via ESPN.com.

As with any injury, one player’s loss is another’s potential gain. In this case, it could be IK Enemkpali who benefits from Wynn’s absence.
