The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly given star quarterback Trevor Lawrence a five-year extension worth $275 million, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The new deal includes $200 million guaranteed and $142 million fully guaranteed, making his annual salary $55 million a year.
The Jaguars have $29.645 million in available cap space for the 2024 season, per SpoTrac, and $21.550 million available in 2025. Lawrence's new deal will certainly make a dent in their available cap space, but the team seems to believe the young quarterback will be a worthwhile investment.
