Jaguars settle center competition, go with Stefen Wisniewski

Our long national nightmare is over. Or something. The Jaguars have picked a center.

While it might not carry the same ramifications as a good quarterback controversy, the Jags did settle things in the middle of their line by going with veteran Stefen Wisniewski as their starter.

“My goal was to be the starter and I’m excited it happened today,” Wisniewski said, via Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union. “Now I can get that off my mind and move on.”

The import from the Raiders was competing with incumbent Luke Bowanko after signing a one-year deal in free agency.
