The Jacksonville Jaguars recently extended middle linebacker and team captain Paul Posluszny through 2017. While the move was made to reduce his cap space over the next two years, many questioned the move made by the Jaguars’ front office. Posluszny is an aging linebacker who struggles in coverage and only played in seven games this season due to injury. Despite this, he still finished fifth on the team in tackles, and had a fumble recovery, an interception, and two sacks. However, the most important part of Posluszny’s game is his ability to lead a defense.
