Bills linebacker IK Enemkpali threw a punch at a teammate during Bills practice Thursday night—exactly one year after he did the same to Jets quarterback Geno Smith.
Enemkpali took a swing at offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandijo on Thursday, according to multiple reports. The dustup appeared to be of the typical training-camp variety, unlike when Enemkpali reportedly punched Smith over a money dispute.
Enemkpali’s punch on Smith had a serious ripple effect. The linebacker was released and joined former Jets coach Rex Ryan on the Bills.

Meanwhile, Smith broke his jaw from the punch, giving up his starting job to Ryan Fitzpatrick, who went on to have one of the best statistical seasons for a quarterback in Jets history.
