With just two weeks left to play in the 2016 NFL season, only 10 of the NFL’s 32 teams have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
Granted, another handful of clubs are alive based solely on a handful of scenarios about as likely to develop as Donald Trump being elected president of the United States, oh wait ...
So it’s time once again to ponder the question – this NFL we have today, is it delivering fantastic parity or rampant mediocrity?
Clearly the question is as subjective as they come. As we’ve played with it over the past couple decades, I’ve yet to come up with a meaningful test that allows us to accurately compare teams of one era to another.
