But that wasn’t going to happen Wednesday at Halas Hall after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced the league’s new policy regarding player behavior during the national anthem just as the Bears were taking the field for organized team activities.
Meeting the media shortly after practice, asking for Matt Nagy's reaction to the new rules was one of the first questions launched at the Bears' coach.
“Literally, I heard some of that is just getting passed right now, so I haven’t been able to think too much about [it]," he said.
“From what I was told, there were no issues with this team last year, which is great.
