At just what point will NFL fans say enough is finally enough?
Some, perhaps many, thought the end might be at hand with the news of dramatically diminished TV ratings for the league’s primetime games throughout September and October.
The talk around water coolers everywhere was the shield is in trouble and numerous theories were advanced.
Then came news early this week that last Sunday night’s game between the Giants and Cowboys was the NFL’s highest rated primetime affair since 1989 and a deeper dive showed that ratings for the most part have rebounded nicely since early November.
