At 1-10 and 2-9, the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears, respectively, are clearly two of the worst teams in the NFL, but there is a very real difference between them.
With Jay Cutler, Alshon Jeffery, Kevin White, Kyle Long, Zach Miller, Ego Ferguson, Will Sutton, Lamarr Houston, Jerrell Freeman, Danny Tevathan and Kyle Fuller on the field, the Bears are clearly a much better team than the one we will see Sunday versus San Francisco.
The 49ers have lost 2015 first-rounder Arik Armstead, All-Pro linebacker NaVorro Bowman and Eric Reid to injuries over the course of this season, but other than that, the lowly team you will see Sunday is the one head coach Chip Kelly has been asked to win with this season.
