How Bears O-lineman knew Sunday was all about David Montgomery, run game: 'Everybody's piss was hot'

Cornelius Lucas, the other new wrinkle in the Bears' upstart run game during Sunday's loss to the L.A. Chargers, could sense last week that top pick David Montgomery and a previously drab rushing attack's time to shine was nigh.

"I was very impressed with his effort, breaking tackles and running really, really hard," Lucas, who was inserted 17 times by Matt Nagy as an extra offensive tackle in the new-look jumbo package, told Bears Insider Wednesday.

"But I felt like that all week. Everybody’s piss was hot."

Come again, Cornelius?

"Our piss was really hot last week, and for it to end the way it did Sunday, I feel like it just made us even hotter for this week.
