Hilton takes a seat, Dorsett gets the start for Indy opener

Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton will celebrate his new contract . . . by not playing in Sunday’s preseason opener against the Eagles.

Via Stephen F. Holder of the Indianapolis Star, Hilton is inactive for the 1:00 p.m. ET game at Philly. Rookie first-rounder Phillip Dorsett will start in Hilton’s place.

Per Holder, Hilton’s absence is related to a personal reason that kept him from practicing on Friday.

Receiver Donte Moncrief also is out, with a groin injury. Assuming old-man newcomer Andre Johnson will make only a cameo, guys like Dorsett and Duron Carter will get plenty of opportunities to show what they can do.
