Aaron Hernandez’s defense wanted to question a juror after receiving an anonymous call that the juror had been “untruthful” during jury selection. Now, that tipster’s credibility is being called into question.
Prosecutor’s wrote Monday that the tipster, who was identified only as “Katy,” had a “sexually explicit relationship” with the former New England Patriots tight end, who was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2013 death of Odin Lloyd.
“(T)he Commonwealth has also learned that ‘Katy’ hasn’t simply been in personal contact with the defendant,” prosecutors wrote, per the Boston Herald. “She had an ongoing sexually explicit relationship with the defendant prior to and during the trial.
