One day after photos of the bruised ex-girlfriend from his domestic violence case were released by Deadspin, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy took to social media and expressed regret for "what happened in (the) past."
In a series of posts on Twitter on Saturday night, Hardy also said he is grateful still to be playing in the NFL.
Just had to say I express my regret 4 what happened in past and I'm Dedicated to being the best person & teammate that I can be

but mostly I am Grateful 4 the opportunity to play in NFL #GodBlessHookyStreet
The tweets come a day after Deadspin made public photos showing multiple bruises all over the body of Hardy's former girlfriend, Nicole Holder, who he was arrested and charged with attacking and threatening in 2014.
