Giants vs. Falcons: Coleman’s Touchdown Increases Atlanta’s Lead

It was a remarkably quiet start to the game, with the teams combining for six punts on their first six drives. In the last six minutes the two offenses suddenly woke up, resulting in the Falcons leading, 10-3, at halftime.

Atlanta got things started with an 86-yard drive in which all but three yards came on two long passes by Matt Ryan. He found his tight end, Austin Hooper, for a 36-yard gain and then threw a bomb to Marvin Hall downfield, hitting the fleet wide receiver in stride in the end zone for a 47-yard score.

The Giants responded by marching down the field with 77 yards on 11 plays, including a 38-yard pass from Eli Manning to Sterling Shepard.
