EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz returned to practice Monday for the first time in more than a month and ran about 20 pass routes without discomfort in either his surgically rebuilt right knee or his strained left calf muscle. Cruz said after the hourlong workout that he was convinced that he would play when the Giants visit the surging Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
“Everything feels good; everything is starting to click,” Cruz said.
The Giants’ training staff has been restricting what Cruz does in his recovery, but Coach Tom Coughlin said he was eager to see how Cruz felt after practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
