The Giants had several players trying out for spots on the roster at their rookie minicamp this weekend and three of them did enough to earn longer looks from the team.
Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that the team has agreed to deals with Southern Connecticut defensive tackle Carlif Taylor, Stony Brook tight end Will Tye and Temple running back Kenny Harper. All three will still face steep odds of making the final roster, but they’ve cleared one hurdle to land on the roster after going both undrafted and unsigned last week.
