Just moments after getting flagged for running into the kicker, New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings redeemed himself in a big way.
At the end of the first drive of the game, Jennings just missed coming up with a block and ran into Washington Redskins punter Tress Way. However, there was also a flag on Washington, resulting in offsetting penalties and forcing another punt.
This time, the 231-pound Jennings powered his way to the block after he pushed his man all the way back near the punter. The ball ended up going out of the end zone, resulting in a safety.
