Giants' Jason Garrett Tests Positive for COVID-19; Kitchens to Be OC vs. Browns

The announced Thursday that offensive coordinator has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Tight ends coach Freddie Kitchens, who served as the Browns head coach in 2019, will take over the Giants' play-calling duties for the Week 15 clash.

At this point, there appear to be no high risk close contacts. We are awaiting confirmation from the league. Out of an abundance of caution, the Giants will meet remotely and will not practice today.

Garrett joined the Giants' coaching staff in January after his contract as the Dallas Cowboys' head coach ended following the 2019 season.
