New York Giants team president John Mara didn't sound too eager for a long-term rebuilding plan Monday, but general manager Joe Schoen plans to stay the course.
"We're gonna build this thing the right way," Schoen told reporters. "I'm not gonna do a Hail Mary for self preservation or anything like that. We have a plan in place that we believe in and we're going to stick with that."
His comments come after Mara announced Monday the Giants would keep head coach Brian Daboll and Schoen for the 2025 campaign:
While the team's statement said there is still confidence in place from ownership, Mara also told reporters Monday building a contender "better not take too long, because I've just about run out of patience.
