The New York Giants already have a new No. 26 after running back Saquon Barkley's departure to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this week.
Former Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary, who signed with the Giants shortly after Barkley signed with the Eagles, will wear No. 26 for New York as he did in Houston, per Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith.
Singletary has worn No. 26 his entire NFL career. He wore it for four seasons with the Buffalo Bills and last season with the Texans. Though a No. 26 Giants jersey might be synonymous with Barkley, that isn't going to stop Singletary from wearing the number he has worn for the last five seasons.
