Don't count running back Fred Jackson among the NFL players retiring this offseason.
Having turned 35-years-old over the weekend, Jackson wants to continue his career in 2016, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via a person close to the nine-year veteran.
Jackson is a free agent after hauling in 32 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns in a third-down role for the Seahawks in 2015.
In the twilight of his career, Jackson is no longer a viable running threat. He can still help a team, however, as a pass-catching specialist, pass protector and team leader.
