Former NFL linebacker Quentin Groves dead at 32

Former NFL linebacker Quentin Groves has died at the age of 32.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who drafted Groves in the second round out of Auburn in 2008, and the Auburn football program confirmed the news with statements on Saturday. USA Today’s Luke Easterling reports Groves died of an apparent heart attack.

Groves last played in the NFL for the Titans, in 2014, and was an All-SEC player at Auburn. He bounced from team to team in the NFL, also spending time with the Raiders, Cardinals, Browns, Texans, Titans and Bills, who released him ahead of the 2015 season.
