David Wilson’s explosive athleticism was evident, before a neck injury ruined the Giants running back’s career.
Now, he’s found another way to put it to use, without the same risks.
According to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, Wilson will make his professional track debut Saturday at the Adidas Grand Prix (televised by NBC).
Wilson’s entered in the triple jump, in which he competed in college at Virginia Tech, and he’s going to be among some of the best in the world. Also competing are Amercian Will Claye, the Olympic silver medalist and Cuba’s Pedro Pablo Pichardo, who owns the third- and fourth-longest triple jumps of all time.
