First meeting between San Diego, NFL goes well (but doesn’t really accomplish anything)

With the Chargers giving San Diego not just a stiff arm but a Walter Payton-style forearm to the facemask regarding negotiations aimed at putting a stadium proposal onto the ballot before the team’s next deadline for putting all its stuff into a fleet of moving vans, the city has turned to the NFL for help. And the powers-that-be in San Diego have held their first meeting with officials from the league.
