Federal Appeals Court Reinstates Brady Suspension

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in a 2-1 decision, overturning the previous overturning of Tom Brady's four-game Deflategate suspension. The essential finding here is that in the last CBA, the NFLPA negotiated away any legal rights for players. Roger Goodell's broad discretion under the CBA means he can essentially do anything to any player for any reason at any time.

Remember, this is not about a scheme to deflate footballs; the court even says that in its decision. This is about whether Roger Goodell has the broad authority to suspend players for whatever reason he deems appropriate.
