Fantasy football managers impressed by Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels' 16-carry NFL debut might not be able to depend on the rookie for another run-heavy game in Week 2.
Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters after Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that the Commanders will be focusing more on giving carries to running backs Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler going forward.
"We'd love to see [Daniels] remain a passer first," Daniels said (11:15 mark of the video below.) "I think it's going to come with more experience, honestly. When I can go, extend it to throw it, when, 'Hey, this play's over, I'll get rid of it, and move on to the next play.
