San Francisco safety Eric Reid says he was misquoted in a story about concerns regarding his history of concussions.
As we noted yesterday, the San Francisco Chronicle ran a story saying that Reid had thought about retiring after suffering three concussions in his first two NFL seasons. Reid later took to Twitter and addressed the writer of that piece, Eric Branch, saying that he never said he had given some thought to leaving the NFL.
“The media always finds a way to twist your words…they just want you to click on their article,” Reid wrote.
