Eric Berry “definitely ready” for more work

Chiefs safety Eric Berry checked off another box in his comeback from cancer on Friday night when he played in a game at Arrowhead Stadium for the first time since his diagnosis in 2014.

Berry called it a “wonderful feeling” to see the fans tailgating and smell the barbeque as he arrived at the stadium. He played 21 snaps, which was up from eight in the preseason opener, and said afterwards that he feels like he could handle another spike in playing time against the Titans in the third week of preseason.

Definitely ready, but it’s good to see what I need to work on,” Berry said, via Chiefs Digest.
