Johnson was suspended for 10 games for violating the league's performance enhancing drug policy after losing two appeals. Johnson says he took an approved amino acid but still testing positive for a banned drug.
Johnson's attorney Steve Zashin says the NFL and NFLPA have undermined players protections and that the two entities have violated federal law
"Lane also filed a complaint against the NFLPA with the Department of Labor under the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act," according to a statement from Zashin.
