As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for another run at an NFC East title, they find themselves having to overcome a key offseason injury. Right guard Brandon Brooks, who started all 16 games in 2019, is expected to miss the entire season with a torn Achilles tendon.
"I was doing 60-yard shuttles, and on seven of eight, I went to touch the line, push off and POP," Brooks explained in a social media post (h/t Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk).
Replacing Brooks is now one of Philadelphia's biggest offseason priorities.
One possible option, according to Albert Breer of The MMQB, is New England Patriots guard Joe Thuney.
