The Philadelphia Eagles have restructured the contract of defensive end Josh Sweat, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Sweat's restructured deal includes $10 million guaranteed and can reach a maximum of $13 million with incentives (per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler). He reportedly had no prior guarantees on the remainder of the three-year, $40 million extension that he signed with the team in 2021.
Dianna Russini of The Athletic previously revealed that the Eagles were "shopping" Sweat for weeks, although the restructure will allow the 26-year-old to remain in Philadelphia next season.
