When the Eagles added Kiko Alonso to DeMeco Ryans and Mychal Kendricks at inside linebacker, some wondered if they’d be able to find enough playing time for all three players.
On Thursday, they would have settled for any activity at all. None of the three players practiced a few days ahead of the team’s preseason opener against the Colts. Alonso’s injury is the most serious as Thursday continued an absence dating to when he suffered a concussion last Tuesday. Defensive coordinator Bill Davis admitted it’s “probably fair” to assume Alonso will miss Sunday’s game, but downplayed any other concern.
