Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has been the subject of much criticism over the past several months since assuming the general manager duties.
Eagles’ owner Jeffery Lurie is tired of the negative flood and recently stood up for Kelly.
“Some of it has been beyond ridiculous,” Lurie said, via Philly.com. “Chip’s a leader in our organization and he’s held to a very, very high standard. I watch him on the field relate to players. His door is always open. I’ve never even seen that before. He cares about the people, the players. I’m very proud.
