Eagles' Jalen Hurts Reveals $255M Contract Clause Prohibits Him from Playing Golf

The five-year, $255 million contract Jalen Hurts inked with the Philadelphia Eagles in April 2023 came at a price.

One of the contract's stipulations is that the Eagles quarterback cannot golf.

Hurts told reporters about the clause after joining running back Saquon Barkley and Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie on Wednesday for a round of golf with former president Barack Obama.

"To see him out there enjoying himself and talking a little trash, that was cool," Hurts said about playing with the former president, per Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal.
