Eagles safety Earl Wolff said recently that his injured knee was getting “worse and worse” and he’d been out of practice seeing doctors in an effort to see if there was a way to get things moving in the opposite direction.
The Eagles aren’t waiting around to find out if someone has the right short-term prescription. Tim McManus of 97.5 The Fanatic was the first to report that the team has waived Wolff with the injured designation and several other Eagles reporters have followed up with confirmation of the news.
Wolff will now be available to the other 31 teams on waivers.
