Dwayne Bowe took a break from the first week of the offseason program in Cleveland this week, for one of the most admirable reasons possible.

Bowe, who spent eight seasons with the Chiefs, returned to Kansas City on Tuesday for the funeral of Betty Johnson, an 86-year-old season-ticket holder he had a habit of kissing before every game.

“He flew in for my mother’s funeral to give her the last kiss,” Mrs. Johnson’s daughter, Susan, told KCTV5.com.  “Her celebration was just what she wanted.  I wished I could have seen her in heaven today.
