Brees Doesn't Need Surgery

Mike Triplett of ESPN reported, via colleague Ed Werder, that Brees had his foot evaluated by Dr. Robert Anderson. Anderson ruled out surgery but did recommend four-to-six weeks of rest, which would jeopardize Brees' ability to play in the Pro Bowl if he was selected as an alternate.
