Donald Trump was one of the first people to defend Tom Brady after the Ted Wells report was released, and the Republican presidential candidate has not backed down from his stance.
In an interview with FOX Business earlier this week, Trump ripped Roger Goodell and the NFL for the way they have dragged Brady through the mud.
“I think it’s ridiculous the way they’ve treated him,” Trump said. “He’s a friend of mine — a great friend of mine. He’s a great guy and I think it’s terrible the way they’ve treated him. To spend $10 million in legal fees, and now it’s probably much higher than that.
