Don’t expect to hear from McNally or Jastremski

With the Patriots on Thursday saying plenty about the words and intentions of suspended-without-pay employees John Jastremski and Jim McNally, some are wondering whether at some point either or both men will break their silence, via media interviews.

The more likely to blab could be McNally, who demonstrated profane animosity toward Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in text messages following an October 2014 games during which Brady was angry about the condition of the footballs. At some point, McNally could feel sufficiently abandoned, isolated, and/or ridiculed to lash out, possibly even blowing the whistle on a scheme to deflate footballs and then to cover it up.
