With a disappointing 2015 season set to come to a close for the Miami Dolphins, the focus has shifted toward finding a head coach who can put an end to their seven-year playoff drought.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross sent a letter to season-ticket holders Friday promising a thorough head coaching search that will include interim head coach Dan Campbell as well as other candidates:
I had high expectations headed into this year and the on-field results have been disappointing... for you, our staff, our coaches, our players and alumni players, and certainly for me.
