Miami Dolphins running back Frank Gore, who does not need surgery for his sprained foot, wants to return in 2019 for a 15th NFL season, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday.
The source told ESPN that doctors have determined that Gore, who left last Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Vikings, is expected to recover in a few weeks.
Gore, 35, who is a five-time Pro Bowl selection, is in his first season with the Dolphins after signing a one-year contract to play in the city where he starred for the University of Miami in college football.
