NFL Offseason - Wide Receiver DK Metcalf and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on a three-year, $72 million extension with $58.2 million in guarantees, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported Thursday. The deal includes a $30 million signing bonus, highest in history for a wide receiver. Metcalf is now under contract through 2025, when he will hit free agency at age 27.
A second-round draft pick in 2019, Metcalf led the Seahawks with 75 catches and a dozen touchdowns in 2021. His best year was in 2020, when he made the NFL's top 10 in receiving yards and touchdowns, ranking fifth in DYAR and 12th in DVOA.
