Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant will make his return to the field Sunday against the Seahawks, barring a late setback during warmups, according to several sources informed of his situation.
He'll wear a custom orthotic, and the Cowboys will put him on a pitch count of sorts, but with no set number of snaps. Simply, they will watch and monitor him to make sure he's OK.
Regardless, seven weeks after Bryant broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot, he's expected back on the field for his reeling team.
One team source said simply that Bryant is playing, while another added the caveat that they'll monitor him when he arrives and again in warmups to be sure his foot isn't too sore to go.
