Dez Bryant says he’s not willing to play for $13 million this season because he needs the kind of money that can set him up for life.
Bryant, who is threatening not to report to the Cowboys for the start of the regular season if they don’t offer him more than the $13 million he would make on the franchise tag, wrote on Twitter today that he wants long-term security. Bryant decried the “opinions and assumptions” that he’s heard about his situation, and then said that he’s waiting for a bigger deal than the one-year franchise tag provides.
