A "wish is coming true" for Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Devontez Walker, who told reporters that he's been a long-time admirer of quarterback Lamar Jackson and wanted to play on the same team as him.
"I've been watching Lamar since he came out of high school," Walker said, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "He's somebody that I wished I was on his team, and now that wish is coming true."
Walker, a fourth-round pick out of UNC, caught 41 passes for 699 yards and seven touchdowns in eight games last season.
The NCAA initially sidelined him for the first portion of the season after the association ruled him a two-time transfer despite never playing a game at NC Central before leaving for Kent State.
