FOXBORO, Mass. — Devin McCourty doesn’t roll out of bed and immediately check his social media accounts. Otherwise, he would have seen Tom Brady’s lengthy statement, posted Friday night.
“I haven’t checked my Facebook yet,” McCourty said with a smile when asked what he thought of Brady’s words.
It was the first time Brady has addressed U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman’s decision to overturn his four-game suspension. Brady thanked his teammates for being supportive during the seventh-month Deflategate ordeal.
“I think the good thing is that’s over with,” McCourty said. “I think for right now, we as a team, we just want to talk about this game on Thursday night and be ready to go.
