DeVante Parker Retires After 9 NFL Seasons; WR Signed Eagles Contract in March

Wide receiver DeVante Parker, who played nine seasons in the NFL, is retiring, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Parker spent seven seasons with the Miami Dolphins, two years with the New England Patriots and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in March, though never suited up at his last stop.

Parker, 31, decided to retire to spend more time with his four kids.

"I want to see my kids, spend quality time with them," Parker said. "I want to be there for them whenever I can."
