The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may be starting the regular season a bit weaker on the offensive line, as tackle Demar Dotson suffered an MCL sprain during the team's preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings and had to be helped off the field.

Dotson Out for 6 Weeks with Injury

"He will be out for a period of time," head coach Lovie Smith told Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times earlier Sunday. "We're in the evaluation process still with him."
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, however, reported that Dotson would miss six weeks due to his sprain, per sources, noting that the team signed free agent offensive lineman Gosder Cherilus to add depth to the line.
