The headline for Titans training camp had been that Marcus Mariota hadn’t thrown an interception. He now may not be throwing many completions to tight end Delanie Walker.
Via Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com, a hit from defensive back DaNorris Searcy left Walker shaken up. He stayed on the field for another play before going to the locker room for an examination.
Per McCormick, Walker was holding his arm gingerly.
Walker, one of the few pre-Mariota players on the team with recognizable names, is a key player for the Titans, due both to his skills and his leadership abilities.
