If ever there was a news story we all wish was fake, this might be it.
Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported Sunday morning that the Giants sent two footballs to the NFL following last weekend's 24-14 defeat in Pittsburgh. Why? They're alleging the footballs were deflated after testing their PSI early last Sunday.
The Steelers cruised to their third consecutive victory, as Ben Roethlisberger completed 24-of-36 for 289 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, good for a 98.0 passer rating — down slightly from his season average of 99.4.
The NFL hasn't responded to the Giants' claim, according to Glazer.
